糖尿病是威胁人类健康的重大疾病,Exendin-4是一种从墨西哥巨蜥蜴的毒液中分离得到的含39个氨基酸的多肽,与GLP-1具有53%的序列同源性,其不但能促进胰岛素分泌,而且具有稳定性好、半衰期长的优点,在糖尿病等治疗方面具有广阔的前景。本文就Exendin-4结构、性质、功能等方面的研究进展作以综述。

Diabetes is a serious disease threatening human health,exendin-4 is separated from venom of huge lizards in Mexico and consists of 39 amino acids.It has a 53% sequence overlap with GLP-1.It not only can stimulate the secretion of insulin,but also has the advantages of good stability and long half-life.Exendin-4 has a wide future development in therapy of diabetes.The article mainly reviews its structure,properties and functions,et al.
