Objective:To develop an HPLC method for determination of gastrodin in Tianma capsules.Methods:Kromasil C18(4.6 mm×200 mm,5 μm) was adopted;The mobile phase was methanol-water(55∶45) at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1;The detection wavelength was 220 nm and and the injection volume was 10 μL.Results:There was a good linear relationship with a range of 8-80 μg·mL-1 for gastrodin(r=0.9995),the average recovery rate(n=6) was 98.87% with RSD of 1.4%.Conclusion:The method is simple,accurate,and can be used for the quantitative analysis of Tianma capsules.
