Objective:To establish the quantitative method for timosaponin BⅡ in Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge.by HPLC-ELSD.Method:The column used was a packed with 5 μm stationary phase Agilent TC-C18(250 mm×46 mm).The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-water(25∶75) at a flow rate of 08 mL·min-1;The temperature of drift tube was 105 ℃,and the nebulizer nitrogen flow rate was 30 L·min-1.Result:The linear range of the component was 0785-196 μg;The average recovery(n=6) of timosaponin BⅡ in crude material was 1031% with RSD of 10%.The contents of timosaponin BⅡ in crude form and slices of Anemarrhena asphodeloides from different sourses were 384%-991%.Conclusion:The method is reliable,simple and precise,and it can be used for the determination of Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge.
