Objective: To study the rheology behavior of vitamin A palmitate eye gel and establish a method to measure it’s dynamic viscosity with a cone-plate rheometer. Method: A Brookfield R/S CPS rheometer was used to develop the method with C-50-1 rotor at the Shear-Rate 80( s-1). Temperature when the test was carried out was 20℃. Results: The average dynamic-viscosity of vitamin A palmitate eye gel is 867mPa·s(RSD=0.29%，n=30).Conclusion: The method is convenient, accurate, reliable and suitable for the determination of the dynamic-viscosity of the gel.
