Objective:To analyze flavonoids in the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. and compound Yemazhui capsules.Methods:A quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer was applied to verify the structure of flavonoids from LC eluate by Q1 scan and product ion scan. The Phenomenex-C18(5 μm,250 mm×4.6 mm) column was adopted. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and 0.4% acetic acid,with gradient elution(the percentage of acetonitrile changed from 5%→95% in 60 minutes).The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. The samples were analyzed by LC-ESI/MS in positive ion mode and the capillary voltage was 3.0 kV.Results:Three flavonoid aglycones and two flavonoid glycosides in the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. and compound Yemazhui capsules were determined and the possible structure of one flavonoid glycoside was deduced based on the chromatography and MS data.Conclusion:This method can be available and helpful to find or analysis the constituents from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.and compound Yemazhui capsules.
