Conjugated linoleic acids(CLAs)have been conformed to possess some interesting pharmacological activities,such as losing weight,reducing fat accumulation,anti-tumor and enhancing immunity.CLAs have been widely applied in pharmaceutical,health care and cosmetic fields.CLAs have several isomers,each of which has different properties and physiological activities.It is necessary to set up a reliable,rapid and simple analytical method for analyzing CLAs in different matrixes.This paper reviews the application of different analysis methods in recent years,such as ultraviolet spectroscopy,infrared spectroscopy,gas chromatography,silver ion chromatography and capillary electrophoresis,and provides reference for the analysis and directions for the study in novel analytical methods of CLAs.
