As an excellent health food, pollen contains not only all nutrition portions necessary for long life such as phospholipids, phytosterol, vitamins, trace elements, but also many bioactive compounds such as amino acid, enzyme, coenzyme, nucleic acid etc. The paper summarizes the analysis methods of functional components and biological activities of pine pollen.
