抵抗素起初认为与胰岛素抵抗有关,近来的研究结果表明其作用广泛,与炎症、代谢、免疫和肿瘤等关系密切。近年来的研究表明转录因子Sp1对抵抗素基因的表达有着重要影响,这对于阐明抵抗素作用的详细分子机制,为临床防治抵抗素相关的疾病提供了一个新的分子靶点。

Resisting was originally identified as a hormone that induced insulin resistance in rodents with increasing evidences indicate its important regulatory roles in various biological process, including inflammatory disease, metabolism, tumor and immunity. Recent research results showed that transcription factor Sp1 plays an important role upon expression of resistin gene, and it was beneficial to elucidate the precise mechanism of resistant actions, and provide a new molecular target for the prevention and therapy of diseases involved with resistin.
