Objective:To establish the method of determine the content of β-element,curcumol,germacrone and curdione in Zedoary turmeric oil by GC. Method:Gas chromatography: HP-5 (0.32mm × 30m) flexible quartz capillary column, injection port temperature 250 ℃, hydrogen flame detector (FID) 280 ℃, injection volume 2μL, do not split injection, column flow of 1mL • min-1; programmed temperature: the initial column temperature of 100 ℃, with 4 ℃ • min-1 up to 200 ℃. methyl salicylate was adopted as internal standard. Result: β-elemene injection volume at 0.03― 0.49μg with the peak area ratio (β-elemene / methyl salicylate) was a good linear relationship Y = 5.0242X-0.0815, r = 0.9992, The average recovery rate of 98.6% (RSD 2.0%); curcumol injection volume at 0.03― 0.52μg with peak area ratio (curcumol / methyl salicylate) was a good linear relationship Y = 4.3829X-0.0274, r = 0.9993, average recovery rate of 98.0% (RSD 2.5%); Gemmaone injection volume at 0.14 ― 2.20μg with the peak area ratio (Germacrone / methyl salicylate) was a good linear relationship Y = 0.969X-0.012, r = 0.9997, average recovery rate of 101.0% (RSD 2.3%); curdione injection volume at 0.13 ~ 2.08μg with peak area ratio (curdione / methyl salicylate) was a good linear relationship Y = 0.9047X +0.0268, r = 0.9994, average recovery rate of 99.5% (RSD 2.5%). Conclusion: Different sources of zedoary 4 ingredients difference, curdione in some samples undetected.
