Objective:To develop a inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) method to determine calcium in rat urine.Methods:Urine samples were diluted with 2% HNO₃. The interference of calcium matrix was corrected by selecting appropriate internal standardization element. Urine samples were directly determined by ICP-MS. Results:A good linear relationship was obtained between the range of 0.2-8.0 μg·mL^-1(r=0.9995,n=6);The inter-day and intra-day accuracy were both lower than 2.6%,and the relative error was lower than 2.3%;The recovery rate was 99.0%-101.1%. Conclusion: The method is simple,rapid, accurate and reliable and can be applied to the sample with satisfactory results.
