0bjective: A HPLC method was established for the determination of pinocembrin and its related substances. Method: The separation was performed on a Kromasil C18 column(4.6mm× 150mm ,5µm).The mobile phase was composed of methanol-water(adjusted to pH 3.0 with phosphoric acid) =63:37 .The flow rate was 1.0mL•min-1 .The detection was carried out with a UV detector at 290nm.The chromatography was conducted at room temperature. The injection was 20µL. Results: The calibration curves were linear between 2~200µg•mL-1 (r = 1.0000).Intra-day and inter-day RSD were 0.10% (n = 5)and 0.14%(n = 5). Conclusion: The method is simple, rapid, accurate and is suitable for the determination of pinocembrin and its related substances.
