Objectives: To develop a RP-HPLC method for simultaneous determination of ferulic acid, hesperidin and 5-O-methylvisammioside in Shiweihuoxue pills. Methods: The analysis was carried on a DiamonsilC18(200 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm)column with the mobile phase methanol-water containing 0.05%acetic acid-tetrahydrofuran(34 : 65 : 0.2) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1. The UV detection wavelength was set at 320 nm and the column temperature was 35 ℃. Results: The linear ranges of ferulic acid, hesperidin and 5-O-methylvisammioside were 1.80-18.0, 40.0-400, 3.00-30.0 μg·mL-1 (r>0.999 5, n = 6), respectively. The average recoveries of Ferulic acid, Hesperidin and 5-O- Methylvisammioside were 101.6%, 99.9% and 98.0% (RSD<3.0%, n = 9), respectively. Conclusions: This method is suitable to control the quality of Shiweihuoxue pills, which provides the advantages of simplicity, accuracy and reproducity.
