Abstract Objective:To develop an RP-HPLC method for the determination of vitamin B6 in Gengnianshu tablets.Methods:A YMC packed ODS-A（250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm）column was used,with mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.1% sodium hexanesulfonate(4∶96,adjusted to pH 3.1 with glacial acetic acid).The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1.The detecting wavelength was 291 nm.The column temperature was 25 ℃.Results:Vitamin B6 was well separated.The calibration curve was linear over the concentration range of 0.15-0.76 μg(r=0.9998).The average recovery of vitamin B6(n=9) was 101.3%.Conclusion:The method is simple,accurate and reproducible.
