Abstract Objective: To establish an RP-HPLC method to the content and the related substances of moroxydine hydrochloride injection. Method: Use a C18(150mm×4.6mm, 5μm)column and 0.02 mol·L-1 sodium heptanesulfonate–methanol – acetonitrile(85︰5︰10) as the mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was 237 nm. Results: The linear range was 1.002 - 200.40μg· mL-1(r2 =0.9999), the limit of the detection was 0.1μg·mL-1; the average recoveries were 98.88%, 101.29%, 100.65%( RSD = 1.8%, 1.0%, 1.4%). Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate, sensitive and reliable for determination of moroxydine hydrochloride injection.
