Abstract 0bjecfive:To determine the content of ethambutol hydrochloride in the combined preparation of antituberculotic. Method: An ionpair RP—HPLC method was established using C18 column (4.6mm×150mm , 5µm), The mobile phase was composed of 0.016% bluestone in THF—0.4% SHS (adjust pH to 4.5 with phosphoric acid) （25:75）. The flow rate was 1 mL·min-1,detection wavelength at 258 nm．Results: The linear range of ethambutol hydrochloride was 0.08—0.32 mg•ml-1, the average recovery was 99.8%. Conclusion: The method showed good separation，the results are accurate and reproducible．
