Abstract Objective: To establish a methylene blue method for determination of montmorillonite’s adsorption capacity instead of the strychnine sulfate method. Method: The standard solution was 0.2% methylene blue solution, diluted by phosphate buffer solution( pH6 . 8 ),the detective wave length was 665nm. Results: The method was sepcific,secsitive and accurite. Linear correlation of methylene blue was 0.36-4.32цg .mL1 .Conclusion: The method was accurate.
