Abstract Objective: To develop an HPLC-ELSD method for the simultaneous determination of bilobalide, ginkgolide A, notoginsenoside R1 and ginsenoside Rg1 in Dengyin Naotong capsules. Methods: The chromatographic separation was achieved on a Diamonsil C18(200 mm×4.6 mm, 5μm) column with a mobile phase of methanol-water- tetrahydrofuran (25:70:12). The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1 and the column temperature was 25 ℃. The drift-tube temperature of ELSD
was 110 ℃, and the flow rate of air was 2.8 L·min-1. Results: The calibration curve was linear within the range of 0.02- 0.2 mg·mL
-1 (r=0.9999) for bilobalide, 0.126- 1.26 mg·mL
-1 (r=0.9999) for ginkgolide A, 0.108- 1.08 mg·mL
-1 (r=0.9995) for notoginsenoside R1 and 0.306-3.06 mg·mL
-1(r=0.9997)for ginsenoside Rg1, respectively. The recoveries(
n=9)
of bilobalide, ginkgolide A, notoginsenoside R1 and ginsenoside Rg1 were 100.0%, 99.9%, 99.8% and 100.1%, respectively. Conclusion: The method is accurate, sensitive and specific. It’s can be used for quality control
of Dengyin Naotong capsules.
