本文用高效液相半微量制备柱分离出国产异戊巴比妥中的主要杂质，并用紫外、红外、质谱和氢谱等分析技术进行鉴定，杂质为异戊巴比妥的同分异构体：5-乙基-5-（2-甲基丁基）巴比妥酸。

A major impurity in domestic amobarbital was isolated by HPLC. The impurity structure was elucidated and shown as 5-ethy1-5(2-methylbutyl)-barbituric acid by UV, IR, MS and′ HNMR.
